PrintSignals is operated by Alex, Spain. For data-related enquiries, contact us at privacy@printsignals.com. We will respond to all privacy requests within 30 days.

What we collect

We collect only what is submitted through the contact form on the About page:

• Your name (required)
• Your message (required)
• Your email address (optional — only if you want a reply)

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or any other form of passive data collection. We do not collect data from users who do not submit the contact form.

Why we collect it and legal basis

Contact form submissions are used solely to read and respond to feedback, corrections, and printer suggestions. The legal basis is legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6.1f) — specifically, operating a feedback channel for an information service. If you provide an email address, it is used only to reply to your message.

Third-party processors

Form submissions are processed by Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA), which receives and stores the submitted data on our behalf. Formspree operates under Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal data from the EU to the USA.

The site is hosted on Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA). Vercel may process request metadata (including IP addresses) as part of normal CDN and hosting operations. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

When the spam-protection widget is active, requests are processed by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) for bot detection purposes. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are reviewed and deleted within 12 months of receipt. Submissions that have been reviewed and require no further action are deleted promptly. We do not retain personal data beyond what is needed for the purpose it was collected.

Your rights

Under GDPR (Articles 15–22), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
• Correct inaccurate data (Art. 16)
• Request deletion of your data (Art. 17)
• Restrict how we process your data (Art. 18)
• Receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
• Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority

If you are based in Spain, the supervisory authority is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) at www.aepd.es. Users in other EU member states may contact their local data protection authority.

Minors

PrintSignals is a reference site for adults. It is not directed at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have received data from a minor, please contact us at privacy@printsignals.com and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle personal data, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. We recommend checking this page periodically. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
